Words & Pictures The Insertion Point, Backspace and Delete

	Type your full name in the text box below. Note the insertion point moves across the line as you type. Hit the Enter Key and the insertion point moves down a line. Tap Enter again to skip a line. Type your name again. Now Click with the mouse at the very beginning of the first line. Tap Enter. Note how everything moves down. The Enter key moves the insertion point down, and everything to the right moves with it. If you backspace now, you will erase this empty space holder. You could erase the space between your names, but you must first move the insertion point. Remember, Backspace erases backwards. Delete erases forward. NEXT
