Mousercise- Day 1, Step K- "middling" and
movin'

The middle button has 2
different functions.
When your window is maximized, it restores it down to a
mid-size position.
When your window is mid-sized, it it is a maximizing
button.
BEFORE clicking any button you should point,
stabilize your mouse, wait for the "tool tip" if you
need it, and then carefully move just your pointing finger
to make the click.

Point to the
middle button, and carefully give it a click.
Repeat this process. Note, how the tool tip gives you
advance warning |
|
A mid-sized window is
movable. You may drag it by its "handle," the
Title Bar.

|
Middle size
your window, and then practice dragging it to several new
locations. |
|
A mid-sized
window is also flexible in size. Each of its sided can
expand or contract. |
|
Carefully
hover over the window's edge, till you see the image sizing
tool.

Click on this image and drag in or out to make the window smaller or
larger. |

Note: A window is portable and flexible in size only when
it is in mid-sized. |
